Dear CCMI Family, Friends, Students, and Parents,
First, we hope this email finds you well and healthy! Please know that each of you is in our hearts and minds right now as you are inevitably dealing with the progress of the current COVID-19 outbreak. We are praying that it hasn’t yet directly affected your health or the health of your loved ones.
Amid preparations and precautions, Team CCMI would like to encourage you and assure you that we are continually monitoring the latest information regarding the novel Coronavirus. Your health and safety is our utmost priority. We will continue to monitor developments and communicate new information regarding the COVID-19 virus with our CCMI 2020 artists, faculty, and staff.
We have decided to make the 2020 edition of CCMI entirely online. We are available to you anytime to talk with you or answer any questions. You can reach us via email:
Yuriy Bekker (Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director) – sanchezpt@cofc.edu
Paul Sánchez (Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director) – bekkery@cofc.edu
Amanda Castellone (Director of Operations) – castelloneab@cofc.edu
What should you do next?
1. Wash your hands and follow the protocols and suggestions of your local health care officials.
2. Inform yourself through official sources. Do a little research and discover what scientists and health professionals are saying.
3. Talk with your family, teachers, advisors, mentors, and close friends. More heads are better than one.
4. Continue safely planning for your CCMI 2020 experience. Use this as an opportunity for hopefulness and positivity.
We are here to answer any questions you may have. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns or just need to talk.
We wish you all the very best and are looking forward to spending time with you online at CCMI 2020!
Sincerely,
Yuriy Bekker, Paul Sánchez, and the rest of the CCMI Team
